I’m a banking and technology leader who’s spent 30+ years helping banks modernise what matters, without breaking what must not break.
Today I’m the Chief Technology Officer at Samlink, focused on technology strategy, architecture, and continued modernisation. The work is equal parts engineering reality, regulatory discipline, and making decisions that still hold up when the strategy changes. 
Before that I was CTO for Core Banking & Payments at IBM, where I helped build a global practice (and a lot of scar tissue) delivering core transformations and cloud-native banking programmes across Europe with a focus on ecosystem and ISV capabilities. 
Outside the day job, I co-founded and co-host Fintech Daydreaming (since 2020), and I write and speak about the stuff that sits between hype and hard constraints: platform banking, embedded finance, payments, AI, and why “modernisation” fails when it starts with the easy bits.
